MORE GENEALOGIES and a recap of the death of Saul, as well as several psalms from the period around the time of Saul’s demise, are the focus of our Old Testament study this week.
The psalms cover both ends of the emotional spectrum, from abject despair to joy and thankfulness, while the genealogies record even such relatively minor details as the name of the man who made the cakes for tabernacle service. How, then, can we feel that anything we do to serve God is unimportant?
