The late Michael Heiser and his teachings recently came under fire by a group of folks who released a 2.5 hour video making erroneous assertions about him and his teachings.
Derek was honored to be part of a panel of men familiar with Mike’s teachings to present a civil theological rebuttal.
This is shocking news, yet not surprising seeing that Dr Heiser pushed the boundaries of “systems” and “boxes”. I have found Dr Heiser’s works both thought provoking and challenging. I will watch this rebuttal with eagerness.
Whoever these Nimrods are, they didn’t have the courage to argue with Dr Heiser while he was alive!! I’m glad Derek Gilbert is standing up for him!
I was always taught that you you do not ever speak negative of the dead. How can anyone wait til a man is deceased to challenge what he has taught and went to school for all his life. I admire this man. I am so pleased that his friend Derek Gilbert stood up for him. Praise God!
Derek, I watched it and agree with you all one percent. Excellent job! I saw and refused to watch the show putting down Dr, Heiser’s work as I have known bitter academics over my lifetime.
