SOLOMON’S PRAYER of dedication is a wonderful petition to God, asking Him to listen to the prayers of His people.

Solomon notes that repentance, turning from sin, is important, and that “there is no one who does not sin” (1 Kings 8:46), a concept we see again in the New Testament (1 John 1:8).
